“The Noon design is an interpretation of a traditional Fez embroidery stitch. In this traditional embroidery, all the elements form large patterns. I had the idea of separating one of these stitches and scattering it irregularly on the linen or cotton table linen. Like stars in the sky…The special thing about this embroidery is that it works on both sides. I have been working with it for over 20 years and I am still amazed that it is reversible and so strong.”
