AYA white bed linen with trimmings in carmin color
The AYA white bed linen with trimmings embroidery is inspired by the traditional djellebah button. It is a painstaking work that requires a lot of dexterity. The trimmings are made by hand with thread and needle. White pillowcases and duvet covers have drawstring closures.
It is possible to choose the color of the handmade trimmings.
You can choose between Multicolor – a set of colors comprises a range or Plain colors. Here it is a plain color, trimmings embroidery in carmin.
“This style is one of my first interpretations of traditional Moroccan thread work. Upon my arrival in Marrakech in 1996, I was fascinated by the traditional work of needle and thread. These little balls made entirely by hand are used as buttons on the djellabas. The idea of transposing them to my bed linens quickly imposed itself to me “.
