“Traditionally, craftmanship is used on clothing. Women and men have their clothes made by neighborhood tailors. They source fabrics and trimmings with care. I am inspired by the components the tailors use for making djellabas and this how Yumi style is born. An other point of view, an other interpretation. Pompoms and twited yarn or part of my design vocabulary since long, the snail came to life with this bed linen. I like the simplicity of things, Yumi linen is a representation of that.”
